Well, colors wouldn't be a problem in Qcharts, they are all adjustable.

QCharts would have all that info but it would be the window in a window type thing. As you change a symbol all of the windows you have open - chart 1min,5 min, daily and weekly along with time/sales and single quote window all change to that symbol. Makes it real easy and doesn't clutter up the chart w/trendlines and channels.
You also have the option of not having a chart/window change - like to watch a position you are in.

One of the users emailed me his workspace and it is just so much more than the realthing. I believe someone was saying they now have a free trial but not sure.

Oh, an important thing to me was the fact that all parameters for an indicator can be set to what you want...some can even be offset. The request has been made for dual indicators - StockRSI - and they are working on it. They really listen to feedback and are doing their best to make wishes reality if at all possible.

Qcharts demo at website wasn't at all like the real thing a few months ago....so it is possible it isn't.

Take care,
JJ

jb,

I'm not sure what AIQ version you're using. I have the version called Trading Expert Pro 5.0 (third update, SP-3). It is glorious. I don't think it's the same type software that Qcharts is, though, not even intended for the same purpose.

Trading Expert Pro is really a major database of stocks, indices, and so forth that you follow and study using charts, a multitude of reports, and various other modules for fundamental analysis and developing and testing trading systems and strategies. There is a lot that it does and it takes quite a while to get familiar with it. But it is excellent software and I would not trade the market without it. Nope.

The charts are extremely good with many indicators and options for customizing it to your preferences. The are daily charts using end-of-day data. Realtime charts are also available and I find them quite nice to use for daytrading. I recommend it highly.

I believe you might be using some other version or another product they offer. I'm not sure. But if you don't like the look of the charts, I suspect that's the reason. Otherwise, they are terrific. But it depends on what your intended use it, what you need.

Bill

JB, I'm also a QCharts user. Excellent program. I used Stockedge Online and DTNIQ. Both pale in comparison.

I highly recommend QCharts.

Regards,

Dan.
