Thanks that covers it. Once again nothing new... I think the most critical point is this "Amazon is a middleman" issue, which really applies to all net retailers if you think about it doesn't it? In the past we needed retailers but now... I don't know, I would say for drugs and groceries we still need the retail channel on the net, definitely. But taking toys as an example if fisher price is willing to sell at 5% margins etc. then it sure is a tough call isn't it? Automation/volume economies of scale will never compensate for no middleman margin... I guess it all comes down to whether the manufacturers want to sell direct or not.

>>7- People are catching on to the scam, and stock price reflects that<<
Sarmad, did you know that some of these people paid over $200ps before they figured out it was a scam? Now all those people have left is a revenue stream that's slowing down, and a CEO who won't answer his critics.
I know if I criticized you, you'd answer me back. Other than Bezo ,anyone else would, unless they're hiding something!!
They call that human nature.
Think about this, can you name me a CEO of any publicly traded company that would not reply to any well respected investor journal? The Amzn bulls might not like this article but they'd love it if Barrons gave a positive review of any other stock they own.
I do. I've made a lot of profits buying stocks they've recommended.
Bezo should have returned Barron's call. Then he wouldn't be such a f------g secret and that should have calmed his shareholders down. Except for his cult-like believers that will never get the point until they're told they've padlocked his doors.
Ps
I guess you can tell that I'm not one of his blind cult followers.
Don't you think;:-))
