"Nice little ploy by Dan. Make his big prediction but won't be accountable for several more weeks. Gives him plenty of wiggle room."

Geez, does this ever cross the line and become slander?

<John Hall - re: Brian, it appears Dan Niles is analyst in question. I've heard second hand that he's claimed Intel will miss quarter but not pre-announce.

Since you are the Intel official here, will you confirm that Intel will make $.54 this quarter or will you let your fellows INTC holders bleed to death?

Kap.

John “Nice little ploy by Dan”

I think pathetic is a better word. With only two-thirds of the quarter in and no June sales this guy has it down to 2 cents. In my opinion his opinion ain't worth two cents.

"Operating margins will be about 55% plus or minus a few percentage points." Is this any different? I am beginning to believe that it is the strategy of the management to discredit all those who won't have a positive opinion on the stock and the company "spin." Nice to know the facts first hand.

Good day.
