Hi John, When someone calls you a liar?!?!?! I'm Matt and I take offense when I am called a liar. NOBODY named Matt EVER said that there was ANYTHING filed. That is your feeble attempt to implicate me something that never happened. I only said that I don't believe things are operating on your time frame, remember? Maybe you don't know the process (well, actually, you really don't, admit it) and maybe the background checks that must be completed are submitted prior to applying or are in conjunction with an application. So when you lead the lynch mob down this way, make sure you know what you are talking about before calling anyone guilty and pointing fingers. No one called you a liar for posting that information. Your twist on that is another lie on your part. Your lies are in the false and misleading conclusions you have drawn and the FACT that you refuse to acknowledge that the application for a Thrift will not be under PanAm or FirstStates, but under the name of the joint venture. The company announced its intention to form a joint venture to form a Thrift. Now you find the fact that they have applied to form a thrift somehow mysterious. You can't find it under PanAm or FirstStates even though you know it would not be listed under either name. And some here think you are intelligent?!? Not me. You conveniently ignore the FACTS in order to repeat your lies. No one would call you a liar if you did not tell lies. But you insist on telling lie after lie. You should not complain that others are identifying you for what you are: A LIAR. You are in control of whether or not people call you a liar. Just keep telling lies and they will keep calling you a liar. Why, you have even admitted, even BOASTED, many, many times that you are here for the "story" one definition of which is "a lie". Since you are vastly ignorant of the FACTS which make up the story of PABN, I can only conclude that you are using the other definition of "story" which is "a lie." jhild, You Wrote - You all are desperately trying to defend the lie that got started that the Application had been submitted. It has not. The facts are not a lie. If they have applied, please post it. Otherwise, stop calling me names for bringing facts to this discussion. Ok, first ...relax... lets not get into semantics here. I am not defending a lie. Mike posted some good basic info on the FBI investigating a Thrift in general. My comment to you is your lack of sensitivity toward him for providing this board the background on what happens when a business applies for a Federal Thrift. I will quote him .... "When you start a Federal Thrift or are employed by one you must submit to a full FBI background check. I have worked for a Savings and Loan in the past and could not start until the FBI did a background check and cleared me." It seems as if you want to answer every post (specifically Mike Urban's Post) with a less than well thought out response Message 9892005 ...maybe time to take a little break..eh? Next, I don't wish to belittle you AT ALL! Therefore...YOU TELL ME where I "called you names"! sigh Please don't lower your standards that much to assume that we all must participate in name calling and 5th grade school yard behaviors to have a normal conversation...ok??
