Namibian Minerals Corp is a British company listed in the Canadian stock exchanges and as of April 1 also listed on NASDAQ (symbol: NMCOF). The company has a 15 year mining licence from the government of Namibia to prospect for and mine diamonds from the ocean floor in the Luderitz bay off the Namibian coastline. Their exploration program has established the presence of sizable quatities of gem quality diamonds in their concession area which is adjacent to the offshore producing mines of DeBeers. They expect to start their first diamond production end of this year. Any information exchange on the company and its progress towards commercial production will be useful from an investment perspective.
