Data Warehousing is emerging as highest-growth area in business databases. Unlike the core offerings from Oracle, Sybase, and Informix, which are optimized for transaction processing speed, data warehouse databases are optimized to make sense of the accumulated data and help managers make business decisions based on these stored customer and product consumption profiles. Any comments on the prospects of Red Brick, or other players such as HNC?
