Anyone with any interest in the engine industry needs to take a serious look at this: Advanced Engine Technologies (OTC BB symbol: AENG) came public last month after raising only $1 million (that's all they wanted) via a 504 registration. The shares began trading at $1.50 and stayed there for approx 2 weeks, then it moved to $7 and is now trading between $6 - $7. There are approx 1.5 to 1.6 million share in the public float and 21 million shares outstanding (restricted). The reason for the excitement is because AENG has successfully redesigned the 4 stroke internal combustion engine. Already, the names lining-up behind this engine are BIG, VERY BIG!
Advanced Engine Technologies calls its engine the OX2. It runs on any liquid fuel, has only 30 parts (excluding bearings, washers, nuts, bolts, etc.) and is extremely easy to produce. Of these 30 parts, only 3 are moving parts. Here's a few sentences taken from AENG's web site: "The current OX2 engine fires four times as often as a 4 stroke conventional engine. For every complete cycle of a 4 stroke conventional engine, the OX2 engine has completed four cycles. Therefore, engine capacity of the OX2 engine when compared to a 4 stroke conventional engine is calculated by multiplying the actual engine capacity by four (678 cc X 4=2.712 liters).ÿÿÿ Because the OX2 engine does not use a crankshaft, it has been able to achieve a leverage advantage of 6.6 times over a 4 stroke conventional engine with a similar stroke. The method used to achieve this is the subject of the engine patent." (end quotes)
The OX2's applications are for anything from lawn & garden, generators, marine, automotive, aircraft, etc. It was recently produced in Australia and the rights to North America were passed to AENG. US patents have already been issued. AENG has no desire to become a manufacturer of the OX2 engine. They intend to license manufacturers and receive license and royalty fees. The manufacturer will modify the engine in a manner fitting their application and they will produce the engine.
It's likely there will be a significant news conference in the near term to introduce the OX2 to the engine industry, the investment community, and the world. I know that segments of the engine industry are renowned for moving like molasses, but we'll see what happens when the OX2 is revealed to the public. The OX2 costs far less to produce than any comparable engine, is highly fuel efficient, virtually non polluting, nearly maintenance free, uses a very small fraction of the oil used by a conventional engine, etc. The EPA, California regulators, etc.......are getting very tough now days and they're looking for an engine that will meet the country's needs in a more efficient manner .
IMO, this could be the beginning of a revolution in the industry with far reaching implications. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't suggest betting against this one. With 1.5 to 1.6 million shares in the public float, it's not going to take much to move this one higher. Best of Luck, Greg
PS. By the way, the only ties I have to AENG are as an investor holding shares in this company.
