Is anybody following a company called Terayon. They make modems for
high speed data transmission over cable. Cisco bought 20% of the
company. Terayon has announced an IPO. Shaw cable (Canada) has
also put in about 7.5 mill.

They are using S-CDMA (Synchronus - Code division multiple access)
in their cable modems.

Terayon is based in Silicon Valley, www.terayon.com
