I just noticed news on one of mu picks from two years ago in the paper edition of the NM ( northernminer.com )Well, it was actually an Ad with a Map by a half dozen players in POGI in Alaska and IRR is there and I wonder where the Pacific bay Claims are that were in the news last month. Eitherway, I am posting because I still hold my PBMs and my IRRs ( It's the chin that is falling ...now!) (c) Copyright 1999 Canjex Publishing Ltd. canada-stockwatch.com The last thread is dead, their old Mexico Claims were in JV with Prior who changed their name to RGD ( Rondal gold for Ron T and Dalton D ) but I will always remember when that JV in Mexico didn't Pan out for IRR and with me just watching StaR TreK Voyager tonite, I remember old thread talk here at S.I. at one of those threads a couple years ago: "The Trouble With Tribbles!" So, this year those soft, coooing, fluffy, hairy things are now my beard and i am now a miner! So, I add tonite as a longtime holder, again; "the Trouble with ...Trimbles options. " Any taakers, I like their style, geting tired of funding his options, he let my Prior Option lapse. ( at RGD:ASE )He was gunna spend a bundle of some drills, he saved his cash and went North To Alaska....his Claim is in the Hot North Half but if one looks at the Claim Map...ONE CAN'T GET ANYMORE NORTH -there ain't no claims mentioned to his North. I suspect we better look at the website of that little PBM:VSE to see where theirs are: pacific-bay.com Here is PBMs NR: January 13, 1999 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE "POGO" AREA GOLD PROPERTY ACQUIRED, ALASKA David H. Brett, President, reports that Pacific Bay Minerals has acquired 122 mineral claims and four prospecting licences in the Fairbanks Mining district, Alaska, in the vicinity of the Pogo gold discovery. The purchase price is US$45,000 and 100,000 common shares of Pacific Bay, with a 3% NSR in favour of the vendor (NSR purchasable at US$1 million per percent). The transaction is subject to the approval of the Vancouver Stock Exchange. The Property covers ground believed to be geologically favourable for the discovery of gold mineralization similar to the POGO discovery to the north (Teck Corp.-Sumitomo). Recent estimates of the POGO discovery indicate a 10 million-ton deposit grading 0.52 opt gold, containing some 5.2 million ounces. The Pacific Bay claims, located in the Tanacross Quadrangle Southeast of Fairbanks Alaska, cover a number of Placer gold deposits occurring near an intrusive contact within Palaeozoic meta-sedimentary rocks of the Tanana Terrain. The area has not been covered with glaciers in the past, which means that deposits of alluvial gold are more likely to be derived from local rocks. Random rock samples taken by the vendor during staking contain anomalous gold values in quartzite and quartz-breccias. An exploration program is planned for the summer of 1999. Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. Per/ David H. Brett President HERE'S the Old pacific Bay Thread: Subject 16010 I have no troubles with PBM, still hold thousands! The problem is I need stock certificates to breed like TRIBBLES! Rather than smelling like where a cat was. maybe 1999 is the year but just maybe that this winter they are surveying solid ground and hosting up the anomoly on paper, better than papering up the place like mr trimbletribbledribble. Hey, ASE still has some bargin dimey stocks in PBM and my favorite- JABA at JBA:ASE good old Souwest USA Hard Rock....it probably had an option to go from Nevada to Alaska1 Ha; I even claimed a small 340 acres piece of Nevada( Click PP) , I have a relative in AK, wonder if he has some POGO?
