When utilizing Cellemetry(R) Data Service, it transmits bursts of data to a central host site to provide reliable and very low cost, two-way communications to monitor or read remote devices such as hard-to-reach utility meters and remote control and measurement devices. The Telenetics/Cellemetry LLC solution will be designed to read meters and will report meter tampering and power outage detection and is scheduled for initial roll-out mid-year.
