Norsat makes equipment for the satellite wireless industry
and is the world's leading manufacturer of Low Noise Block Downconverters (LNB's). Currently trading at a multiple of slightly under 1 times current sales (!), investing heavily in R&D, is rolling out new products for 2 way wireless communication in the Ka band. Company has no long term debt. In June Norsat entered into a long term agreement with Nortel to develop ground units for the European Astra-Net satellite network. Norsat also makes CATV headends and related products.
