The Shaw group (NASDQ: SHAW) is the world's leading fabricator of
piping systems: cutting, bending & welding fittings to precise
customer specifications. Though an unglamorous industry, they are the
best at what they do and their earnings are exploding due to rising
refinery project sales, increased international sales and a current
record backlog of orders. They recently aquired the World Industries
fabrication facility, increasing capacity & market share. They also
acquired Alloy Piping products, a leading US manufacturer of
specialty pipe fittings. The company has very low debt and continues
to show strong growth.
