HighWave Optical Technologies to List on Paris Nouveau Marche on June 19 06-Jun-2000 09:11 CET By Alexander Miles PARIS -- France's HighWave Optical said on Monday (Jun 5) it would list on the Paris Nouveau Marche starting June 19 floating 2,272,000 new shares with a bookbuilding range of between 29 euros and 33 euros. The company said the offer would include a greenshoe option of 386,000 shares hence 15% of the capitalization. The company was created two years ago by two former researchers at France's state-controlled France Telecom (FTE.PAR). The company specializes in fiber optic technologies with large telecom operators such as Alcatel and Matra Communications as major customers. The company said its turnover for the year ending March 31 of this year was 4.5 million euros compared with 1.2 million euros in the same period ending in March 1999. HighWave projects its turnover to increase to 11.4 million euros in the next year with a net loss of 5 million euros.
