Is there anyone else here that thinks using Napster and related sites equals stealing? I just can't understand the mentality involved in some peoples reasoning about using it. I imagine if someone came into their place of business and took something off the shelf and tried to walk out without paying for they would scream bloody-blue murder. Am I missing something here? Do people have the right to take others property and distribute it for free? I heard all the arguments about how the record companies charge to much and bs like that. But is that any excuse for taking something that isn't rightfully yours? If that's your excuse why not start stealing gasoline from gas stations? Or rewire your electric meter on your house. Or any number of things you purchase as long as you feel you're being overcharged. Please try to enlighten me on this new trend sweeping America. Just because you live here in America you deserve to get freebies? PS: This thread is not just about napster.. It's about the idea of anyone thinking they deserve things for free just because they can't afford it. Or that they feel they need not pay because they can get it for free. (Does that make sense?)<gg> | ||||||||||||
