MYCO (an agricultural biotech firm) is up roughly 40% in the week or two since DowElanco acquired a controlling stake. I am interested in why people think this is an important and positive event. I presume people think that they will be better able to protect their patent rights. Is this all there is to it, or is something else going on? And while we're at it, what do people think of this company in general?
