anyone out there follow this one?

i stumbled across it while scoping out the holdings in pbhg limited. according to morningstar, as of 6/30/97, it's their sixth largest holding (out of 88).

CMSX < cmsx.com > "provides information technology consulting and custom software development services to diverse client base consisting primarily of Fortune 1000 companies and state governmental agencies. headquarters in jacksonville, fl, with 13 branch locations nationwide providing computer systems support/maintenance, software application development, systems support/maintenance, systems integration," you get the picture. sounds like a mini-bdmi, ams, booz-allen, or saic. pick your acronym soup, they've all got pretty solid profits.

i'm also intrigued cuz zacks has them ranked as 2 of 326 in the computer-software industry with three analysts recommending strong buys.

in addition, they also just reported (jul 17) "record earnings and revenue for the second quarter ended June 30, 1997. For the second quarter of 1997, total revenue increased 26.9% to $17,544,512, net income increased 44.3% to $2,250,391 and net income per share increased 43.0% to $0.15, compared to revenue of $13,821,834,
pro forma net income of $1,559,848 and pro forma net income per share of $0.10, for the comparable second quarter of 1996. During the six months ended June 30, 1997, total revenue increased 25.6% to $33,773,666, net income increased 42.5% to $4,172,706 and earnings per share increased 40.8% to $0.28."

oh, yeah, and it looks like they split 3 for 2 on 20 nov 96.

anyone? bueller? bueller?
