Bally Gaming Announces New Products to be Shown at World Gaming Congress

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Bally Gaming, Inc., a subsidiary of Alliance Gaming Corporation (Nasdaq:ALLY), announced today it will unveil several new products and new product platforms at the upcoming World Gaming Congress & Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 14th - 16th.

The first product, Game Magic, features a true 3-D graphics presentation powered by a Pentium(R) PC-based processor. Game Magic is being introduced with 10 innovative games and features a CD-ROM drive to provide sufficient storage for future expandability. Its advanced technology is housed in a traditional casino-style cabinet and incorporates a large high-resolution video monitor that is mounted vertically.

``In addition to Game Magic, Bally Gaming will introduce several other exciting new products for the gaming industry at this year's show,'' stated Alliance CEO and President Morry Goldstein. ``We hope casino operators will be impressed with our creativity and the advanced technology applications of our new products.''

Another new product to be debuted is Roll the Dice(TM), the Company's first offering of a second-feature, niche machine. This new ``game-in-a-game'' slot product spins three dice to award a secondary bonus. The bonusing feature is activated when a player receives a ``Roll the Dice'' symbol on the third reel of the slant top game. The dice-spinning feature is complimented by special sound and lighting effects to enhance the entertainment experience.

Bally Gaming will also roll out a new lineup of video games called Feature Frenzy(TM) High-Coin Series. The Feature Frenzy games include Prince of Persia(TM), Big House Poker(TM), and Gold Mine Slot(TM), and all offer players the option to bet multiple coins per game. These new games are based on versions made popular in Australia and include second-screen features. The Company will also roll out several new models to enhance its existing ProSlot(R) reel-spinning line.

Bally will also unveil a new technology that will enable casino operators throughout the world to sponsor game tournaments.

Bally Gaming, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliance Gaming Corporation. Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, Alliance Gaming Corporation is a diversified gaming company that is engaged primarily in the design, manufacture and distribution of advanced gaming devices and systems worldwide, is the nation's largest gaming machine route operator and operates two regional casinos.
