Pakistan has been in a very long bear market. I believe we are turning the corner for the Pakistani economy. Stocks in Pakistan are dirt cheap. The only play I know of is the Pakistan Investment Fund (PKF) run by Morgan Stanley. This thread is to discuss developments in Pakistan, the Pakistan Investment Fund, and other investment ideas for Pakistan.

This fund corrected tremendously during the Asian crisis, even though the Pakistani market and currency didn't correct nearly as much. The fund has a huge discount to assets:
