Phoenix Metals U.S.A. mines and processes platinum group metals, gold and silver in the United States from volcanic refractory ore utilizing proprietary processing and concentrating technologies. The 1998 plan is encouraging. Initial production test pours were completed in February.
Further equipment tests runs have been conducted to optimize procedures including rate of ore feed, flux mix, operating temperature and other production factors to enhance and standardize the yield of PGM's and gold from concentrated head ore. Web site should be along in the near future.
