"Imark Technologies (Nasdaq:MAXX) serves publishers and other marketers of digital content with services and software that enable them to securely sell their content on CD-ROM and the World Wide Web. The company's CD-MAX, NET-MAX, and NET-MAX+ services employ proprietary encryption technology to ensure data security and payment for all content usage. At the same time, all three services meter and record each customer's use of content. Imark's solutions provide all of the features and functionality publishers need to sell their content in digital form, including access authorization, rights management, content metering, account management, content management, content hosting, content delivery, transaction processing, payment processing, and billing." Imark Technologies has recently acquired International Advance, a private based Deleware holding company. International Advance owns a 29.9% interest in Voss Net, a London Based Internet Service Provider. International Advance will also have a minimum of $1 million in cash at the time of the transaction. As traffic on the Internet continues to increase and more people start purchasing and transferring data, Imark will continue to have great growth potential. The only negatives I could find were two Form 144's filed on 5/22/98 and 7/8/98 respectively. These are only intents to sell, not actual sales of stock. As of now this is the information I have gathered on this stock. If interested in researching Imark further, post it and lets get this thread started. (The information gathered here was found at Edgar, Imark Technologies homepage, and Market Guide. I am in no way suggesting people buy this stock, yet research it for themselves and decide then whether or not to buy it.) | ||||||||||||||
