Scary title, and now that I have your attention...

I wonder if the flooding in China and displacement of
huge numbers of rural Chinese...

The fact that although it is only August and already there
have been some 1800 cases of flu or flu-like symptoms on
Alaska cruise ships...

and dang it, now I have the flu! And...am even taking antibiotics
for the bronchitis that got going...and I am an otherwise healthy
32 year old male! I sure don't remember getting the flu in the
summer when I was a kid, strange.

Well welcome to the Influenza thread, I hope I can provide
some links that will be interesting. I guess it is something
I can do for the next few days as I get over this nasty bug.
