This is the discussion group for Stox Infolink Systems (SIS), which trades on the Vancouver Stock Exchange. The following information is from a November 1998 news release which describes the direction the company will be taking.... ********************************************************************* Scott Ross Blue has been appointed as president of the company. As previously announced, Mr. Blue's services were retained as part of the company's acquisition of Star Target Holdings Ltd., and since that time he has provided a strong leadership role in all aspects of developing the company's new product set. Mr. Blue wishes to give the following update to investors at this time: First, I am overjoyed to accept the position of president. I see it as the greatest opportunity of my career. Second, due to the media attention I have received in regards to Stox leaving British Columbia, I thought it prudent to share the company's new mission statement and management philosophy now, in advance of the announcements of our new products. It is the mission of the companies held by Stox lnfolink Systems Inc. to maximize shareholder value whilst becoming the dominant disseminators of financial market information in the world. In just a few short months Stox has cultivated a senior management team, a technical vision, and a group of partners that will enable the company to explode from its position as a major player in a relatively small regional market to a major player on the world stage. In order to reap the maximum gains from this rapid expansion, the board is carefully considering where to locate our different operating groups, subsidiaries, and even the public company itself, in order to achieve the highest level of success. We will measure that success in our ability to realize the highest market penetration, the best return on investment, the highest stock price, and the best level of customer satisfaction in the financial services industry. Ultimately, changing the physical location of the company and where it is listed is a decision to be made by all shareholders. The board will include its recommendations in the 1998 information circular, which will be voted on at our annual general meeting to be held on Tuesday, January 19, 1999. | ||||||||||||||
