Hi, I'm Louis Cornell. I have developed a trading style over the last 15 years of investing.

I call it "Frog" investing. It's so named because it requires you to behave like a frog does. Stay with me on this, I'm serious. A frog sits perfectly still, patiently waiting as many flies and insects are flying all about him. Then, when just the right moment arrives, it quickly zaps its prey. Then it goes back to patiently waiting for the next strike.

Stock traders miss out on huge gains not because they fail to pick good stocks, but rather because they don't want to wait for the next big score. In their impatience, they accept a higher degree of uncertainty than is required by trying to "make" something happen that is not going to.

My belief is that if one reads the numerous SI trader's threads, and waits patiently for these three things (a) a group consensus among daytraders for a particular play (b) unusually high volume (as in 10-30 times normal trading volume) on it and (c) large price movement associated with the volume (50-200% increase from previous day's close) then you will always make a successful trade.

Obviously these criteria are not going to be met very often, but easy stock picks do not happen very often either. But I have seen probably 3-5 frogs per month. If you find a frog post it here. If it doesn't meet the criteria, please do not post. Of course feel free to discuss variants of this strategy that have been effective for you, as I'd be very interested in hearing about them.
