Pacific WebWorks went public today by doing a reverse merger with AHAS (Asphalt Associates) and began trading today at 1:15 Eastern. After opening today at $20 it quickly settled back to around $10. They are not just another dumb web site like most internet related investment opportunities. Instead they have developed a powerful tool called Visual WebTools which allows any old computer illiterate to design a business website... just like FrontPage does except that it incorporates all the ecommerce stuff and so forth. Anyway, I'm hoping this thread will start some discussion since I can't find many people who even know this company exists. I am calling to request more info tomorrow... at the moment we don't have much more than a press release and their website at: visualwebtools.com They seem to have a good promotional group behind them... they were brought public by the same group that handled WordCruncher which has gone from $5 to a high last week of $36 in about 2 months... hopefully we'll see much better here since they have something "real" to sell unlike most "internet" companies. | ||||||||||||||
