We all know that there a quite a few internet commerce sites out there now, but only a few supposedly use 3D technology. What 3D allows is more flexiblity and depth.

Look at a product from a spinning 360-degrees, for instance. Log on with your friend in another state and shop for clothes TOGETHER. 3D is the wave of the future in e-commerce - IMO.

The only stock I have been able to find that does this is Activeworlds.com (ALWD). Does anyone know of other e-commerce or auction site stocks that use 3D technology or plans to convert to this 3D-type experience.

I believe the vast majority of e-commerce sites will be based in 3D over the next 2-3 years. Simple one-dimensional sites will be obsolete by then.

This is not meant to be an ALWD thread - there is already a ALWD thread. Please go there to talk about ALWD. What I want here is to discuss 3D technology and its applications in e-commerce and e-auctions. ALSO - please post any stocks that have or soon will have this technology - ESPECIALLY if anyone knows of a Nasdaq stock.

Please do not post regarding 3D games or other 3D applications, ONLY e-commerce and e-auctions. Thanks in advance.
