Now Delivering Services to Inter-Exchange Carriers NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- TMEX USA, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TMXU - news) a Nevada Corporation, has announced completed testing of International Voice Network. Inter-exchange carriers (IXC'S) and local exchange carriers (LEC) telephone companies are in the process of being connected. Initial carrier contracts are being negotiated for eight million monthly minutes of International Mexico calling. The first phase of international traffic represents over $16,000,000.00 in revenue annually. First phase clients connected with TMEX will only utilize 20% of existing network capacity. ''The additional bandwidth paves the way for tremendous growth over the next six to twelve months,'' says Cooper Lee, President of TMEX. The TMEX network is comprised of cutting edge wireless fiber links and high-bandwidth ATM switches. The lasers utilized by TMEX are unlike any product ever used in the communications industry. TMEX is pioneering the use of these systems in a carrier telecommunications company. Currently there are no other communications companies using this system, however, ''zero down time'' organizations are currently using similar products from the same vendor. Some of the organizations with these requirements are the Department of Defense, Saudi National Banking System, NASA, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratories. The lasers provide TMEX with bandwidth of 155,000,000 (150M) oscillations per second, or 2400 individual, simultaneous, uncompressed digital telephone lines. This bandwidth allows TMEX to carry 50,000,000 (50M) monthly minutes. As TMEX outgrows this bandwidth, the lasers can be retrofitted to provide TMEX with 622,000,000 (622M) oscillations per second increasing capacity by more than four times.
