This company manufactures and markets, FOR NOW, sports drinks and vitamins on the internet and through retail outlets. Their website is sportsgroupintl.com

Investors Communications Inc., the public relations firm announced an investor's opinion in order to notify analysts, brokers, market makers, institutional and retail investors, as well as media representitives that Sports Group Intl, a leading sports beverage company,has started trading under the symbol OTC BB:SPGK.

Sports Group International announced the acquisition of SGI, the exclusive licensee of the Spalding Sports Worldwide. SGI has many prominent celebrity athletes active in the promotion of the company as well as shareholders, including, Joe "Willey" Namath, Kiki Vandeweghe, Larry Holmes and Clyde Drexler.

Beverage World Magazine puts the sports drink and bottled water market at more than $12 BILLION a year in sales. Sports Group International has also announced it has purchased Surf City Squeeze, a smoothie/juice bar company with over 110 stores with plans to grow to 600 in 10 months.

The only juicy rumor I was able to dig up is that is a good possibilty of hooking up a deal with a MAJOR distibutor that is a hosehold name. We'll see.
