What are we doing in Eastern Europe? If we are such a humanitarian country, why do we turn away from political and civil strife in other parts of the world? Why are we told that it is our responsibility to end this localized crisis? I do not believe the military, the politicans, and especially, the media. The media makes it easy for us to overlook the fact that this situation is more about power than humanitarianism. We are dealing the world another mastubatory act of the American ego that will add inches, if not feet, to the hole we are digging for ourselves.
...Shh... Do you hear that? History repeats itself like a simplistic waltz, yet we can not learn the dance.
