World Wireless Communications Releases
Information on Equity Investment by Siemens AG

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 17, 1999--World Wireless Communications Inc. (OTC BB:WWWC -
news), a leading developer of wireless and Internet technology systems, Monday announced that it recently received a
significant equity investment from the pension plan of Siemens AG.

Siemens is an international market leader in technology and electronics with annual sales exceeding U.S. $200 billion.

''We are extremely pleased by this significant addition of equity and working capital,'' remarked David Singer, president and
chief executive officer, World Wireless Communications.

''To have such a vote of confidence from an international technology leader helps to establish World Wireless as the premier
provider of wireless technology and Internet-enabling systems.''

World Wireless recently released two new products, the 900 SS Hopper and X-traWeb(TM).

The 900 SS Hopper is a frequency hopping spread spectrum data radio that incorporates World Wireless' proprietary
Secure-Synch(TM) technology. Secure-Sync increases data transfer rates, adds security, and reduces the cost of wireless
implementations.

The 900 SS Hopper was awarded an inaugural Best of Sensors Expo Award at the Sensors Expo in Baltimore on May 5.
Sponsored by Sensors magazine, the award recognizes innovative new products that will have strong impact in the sensing
industry.

The 900 SS Hopper is the newest addition to World Wireless' line of 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz license-free data radios.

X-traWeb is World Wireless' unique web-enabling technology, allowing devices to be monitored from anywhere in the world
using an Internet connection.

Unlike most competing technologies, no proprietary protocols are used in X-traWeb's open architecture solutions. X-traWeb is
fully TCP/IP compatible. The open solution approach adopted by X-traWeb meets current and emerging international Internet
communications standards -- an important benefit when compared to closed, proprietary solutions.

Applications for X-traWeb include vending machines; electric, gas and water utility management; heating, ventilation and
air-conditioning (HVAC); security and access control; environmental monitoring and control; franchise chain information
management and Internet Service Provider value-added services, among others.

Formed in 1995, World Wireless Communications Inc. is a leading developer of wireless and Internet systems, technology and
products. The company develops, manufactures and distributes components for the X-traWeb network, a convergence
technology for the monitor and control of remote systems through the Internet; and spread spectrum radios in the 900 MHz and
2.4 GHz Bands.

Sensors Magazine Awards World Wireless
Communications Best of Show Honor

New 900 MHz Spread Spectrum Radio Recipient in Top 5 Best of
Sensors Expo Awards

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 1999--World Wireless Communications' (OTC BB: WWWC) 900 SS
Hopper radio was awarded an inaugural Best of Sensors Expo Award at the Sensors Expo in Baltimore, MD on May 5.

Sponsored by Sensors magazine, the award recognizes innovative new products that will have strong impact in the sensing
industry. World Wireless is a leading developer and manufacturer of wireless and Internet technology and products.

The 900 SS Hopper, a frequency hopping spread spectrum transceiver, makes possible transmission of sensor data across 25
miles, line of site, with a high tolerance to environmental conditions and frequency interference.

The 900 SS Hopper incorporates the company's proprietary Secure-Sync(TM) technology that adds security, increases
throughput efficiency, and provides error detection.

It significantly reduces the overhead inherent in other coding methods and provides faster effective communications speeds at a
much lower cost. The radio offers cost-sensitive industries, such as remote sensing and control, an affordable and reliable
wireless solution.

''World Wireless is honored to have received this award,'' remarked David Singer, president World Wireless. ''This Best of
Sensors Expo Award supports our belief that the 900 SS Hopper offers the best wireless value on the market. We sincerely
thank Sensors magazine for recognizing this radio.''

The editors of Sensors magazine, the leading publication in the sensors industry for over 15 years, selected the 900 SS Hopper
as one of five award winners.

In addition to long-distance sensor telemetry, applications for the 900 Hopper include Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition (SCADA) in oil/gas pipelines, water/wastewater management, and electrical utilities; environmental monitoring and
control; and security and access control.

World Wireless Communications Releases New 900
MHz Spread Spectrum Radio Incorporating
Breakthrough Technology

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 1999--World Wireless Communications, Inc. (OTC BB: WWWC), a
leading developer and manufacturer of wireless communications and Internet technology and products, Wednesday announced
the release of a new 900 MHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum data transceiver.

The new radio incorporates breakthrough technology developed by World Wireless Communications that dramatically
increases performance while lowering costs.

The World Wireless 900 SS Hopper uses Secure-Sync(TM) technology to improve upon World Wireless' current 900 MHz
hopping radio. This proprietary Secure-Sync technology adds security, increases throughput efficiency and incorporates error
detection. It dramatically reduces the overhead inherent in other coding methods and provides faster effective communications
speeds at a much lower cost.

The first units will be incorporated into Deschutes Digital, Inc.'s IFPnet(TM) Integrated Crop Management system. The system
provides pest management and frost protection for tree fruit, row crops, and nurseries.

Key to this system is a network of remote microclimate weather monitoring stations, for which the 900 Hopper will provide
vital data communications. The 900 Hopper's low power consumption, cost efficiency and reliability ideally suit it for
maintenance-free, solar powered telemetry applications such as this.

Additional applications for the 900 Hopper include Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) in oil/gas pipelines,
water/wastewater management, and electrical utilities; environmental monitoring and control; long-distance sensor telemetry;
and security and access control.

The 900 Hopper transmits data at 56 Kbps over the air, with an extended communications range of 30 miles, line of sight. The
900 SS Hopper complies with FCC Part 15 and does not require a license.

The 900 Hopper is extremely cost-effective, offering the best bits-per-buck ratio of any other available solution. It is small
measuring only five inches by two and a half inches - and operates in environments from -40(Degree) to +80(Degree) C. The
900 Hopper comes in both TTL and Serial versions along with its own Windows configuration and path management utility to
ease customer implementation.

A complete developer's kit is now available for customer evaluation and integration.
