****PROCESS STATEMENT************* Q: How to find hot stocks before they're hot? A: The process method itself is a bit unusual in that the process isn't linear and continuous, but the process is rather discontinuous and synthetic. Or in other words, many approaches are taken simultasneously to DOING due diligence and the knowledge accumulated from these different approaches are then blended together to create a case at the end of my investigations either for or against. These many approaches or subprocesses deal in different ways with generating and combining data through the exploration of trends, contrarians and sector plus sub sector comparisions in the context of the psychology of the Markets. Neither this manic depressive psychology (IEI/D&B) nor the particulars of the different approaches will be explained here. First we will list some references. Then we will look at some examples. Note data provided for examples should be considered just that...examples. Each and every one of you is encouraged to do their own "dd" and ascertain for themselves whether or not any particular investment is within their tolerance for risk. I am not a professional in "the Industry". However, I'm not necessarily sure that that is such a bad thing. I am by no means an "expert" nor do I have any pretense to be one. I'm just some dumb fieck, who does this for fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! ================================== Please quickly click my profile so you may see if you want to waste any time here or spend it elsewhere Member 4602601 Make sure you click some of my favorite links... I'm a "kick the tires", qualitative investor. Sometimes use some quant stuff too, but find most charts just that......charts. ================================ Please also feel free to spend some time in the Gulag the CYBERIAN GULAG + other thoughts Subject 25189 ================================ PLEASE ALSO ONLY QUESTION METHODS, THIS IS NOT ANY SPECIFIC STOCK DISCUSSION THREAD, this is not elementary school If you have input, periodical/book and methods you wish to provide, please so do at any time. If I write something that is incorrect please correct me. However, if you wish to argue the merits of any stock or company. Please do it there and NOT here!!!!!! That is my ONE rule!!!
