Conductus is one of the few small cap companies (other main players are ISCO, SCON, AMSC) in the superconductor industry using high temperature superconductors, possibly the technology of the next century. Their stock showed a sharp rise in early Feb after they announced successful completion of a field test for their superconductor-based filter subsystem for use in rural cellular base stations (see following message).
