Hornby Bay Exploration (CDN:HBBY) is exploring for uranium and base metals in the Hornby Bay region of the Northwest Territories in Canada. The region exhibits all of the characteristics of the Athabasca Basin where U3O8 grades run about 15 percent in producing mines. In preliminary airborne geophysical surveys last year, base metals targets were identified on the fringe of the target area. Recent drilling results have been positive according to company reports. More drill results are expected soon.
