Introduction Compact

Recent article in InfoWeek noted that Grainger launched two additional sites to service their corperate customers - orderzone.com and findmro.com (MRO: maintenance, repair and operations) in addition to grainer.com. These are b2b sites set up by a $4.3 billion company with eCommerce sales from up from $13.5 million in 1998 to $102 million in 1999. Wondering if anyone could provide some insight at how the addition of the online presence might affect GWW's multiples... PE currently approx. 22.
