Overlooked IPOs

This board is aimed at helping us make money in the short and medium term by purchasing high quality IPOs on the open market with good growth prospects in great sectors that are overlooked for various reasons, such as being overshadowed by a so-called "hot" IPO.

This board is not about trying to get allocations of IPOs at the offering price which I don't even attempt. It's also not about which IPOs will be hot. I don't care which IPOs are hot. I only care which ones will give me a good return without too much risk. See the next post for the general investment thesis.

All opinions welcome.

(The usual disclaimers apply. Investing in IPOs is risky because of the unproven nature of many of these companies and the volatility of many of these stocks, especially on the first day of trading. IPOs are not for everyone. Do your own research. Only invest what you can reasonably afford to lose, etc. I am an amateur investor and I may have positions in stocks I think will go up).
