CBXC and APEX were among the Red Chip Review's top small-cap picks for 2000. Is anyone following them?

According to Red Herring, Cybex (CBXC) and Apex (APEX), "...are the leading players in the network switch market. Rather than taking a position in just one of these companies, we recommend that investors simply play the industry and buy both."

On Jan. 20, Cybex reported its 21st consecutive record quarterly earnings.
