Would like to use this thread to track Stocks that are going to complete a merger, spinoff or stock buy back for taking a company private within a few months but which still has a large gap between the current stock value and the value that will be present after the merger/spin off.
This is only to track companies/stocks that already announced a merger or spin off and not ones based on rumors. Like to discuss the probablity of completion of the transaction and therefore realization of the real value and what can stand in the way of the transaction (Government / Anti Trust/Regulators, Shareholders, Partnerships...).
