Ahh, yes.
For those of us with an eye towards the more dubious companies within the penny stock world, Freeway Ramp (Jane) has come up with a great idea for a new thread.
Over the years, we've seen these penny stock touts come and go, or at least come and go on SI. Many have migrated over to Raging Bull where they continue to ply their trade.
My own personal favorite professional tout was Master Jon (Jonathan Curshen). Freeway Ramp included Ira Monas (former FAMH CEO now imprisoned in NY), Jonathan Lebed (professional tout, current whereabouts unknown), Big Dog (semi-professional tout Mike Nichols) and David Sirk (rank, in fact very rank, amateur now dazzling RB posters with his vulgar wit and astute eye for BB losers). Other names that come to mind include Mark Schultz (allegedly now avoiding the SEC while being reclusive in Spain) and of course, many others as well.
So let's get some nominations into the Penny Stock Moron's Hall of Shame. After we get enough nominations (hopefully all of the more infamous SI posters, past and current), we'll then have a vote for various catagories. Perhaps the catagories might include a Professional Tout Moron, a Semi-Professional Tout Moron, an Amateur Tout Moron, an Insider Tout Moron (for example a CEO or Director), and mayber some catagories for the most famous of all-time moronic posts by these nominees.
So let the fun begin, and post your nominees here, either individual posts or just posters themselves. Reviewing the Thread Morons thread to jog your memories is permitted.
