The year 2000 is winding down, and many folks holding technology stocks and NASDAQ stocks are feeling the pain of a bear market. Various Y2K disasters that were predicted failed to materialize, and the world seems to have survived the event.

The new millennium begins (appropriately enough) on Monday, January 1st. With the new millennium comes new beginnings, perhaps starting with our various portfolios.

What do you see happening in the year ahead? Will the bear continue to take a bite out of market capitalizations, or will the bull re-emerge to take market leadership? What strategies should we employ in our portfolios? Should we be defensive or boldly aggressive? I'm sure that everyone "sees" something different, so out with it... <g>
