Dear Friends, I kindly request you to contribute to any aid agency of your choice, that are helping earthquake victims in Gujarat in India. The death toll is expected to rise above 50,000 according to some reports. Many survivors are on streets as their houses have been flattened or are not structurally sound. There is a fear of widespread disease and I assume that there is an immediate need for medical supplies. Following is the list of aid agencies. I believe that contributions to some of the relief agencies is directly passed on to the victims (avoiding red tape, corruption and other bureaucratic hassles). dailynews.yahoo.com If for some reason you are unable to contribute, please pray for the victims. news.bbc.co.uk | ||||||||||||
