Diamond and Base Metal exploration company with several projects in Australia. Yilgarn (JV with SUF: Diamonds): Waiting for caustic fusion results from drill program, in which 10 of 16 targets drilled were determined to be caused by ultrabasic intrusions (kimberlite/lamproite). A few microdiamonds have been found in surface samples and geochemistry is positive for diamonds. Mt Carulina (JV with Inco: Base Metals): Olympic Dam look-alike geophysical target, located in the same geological corridor as giant Olympic Dam mine (Copper/Uranium/Gold), 350 kms NW. Inco must drill deep holes (~400M) within next year, in order to earn interest. Tabletop/Tabletop East/Tabletop West (100% CDR: Diamonds): Microdiamonds discovered in surface loam samples. De Beers' drilling last season discovered a 19M kimberlite section; De Beers missed identifying the 19M section, and subsequently dropped their option. CDR anticipates redrilling in 2002. Gunanya (100% CDR: Diamonds): Microdiamonds recovered in surface loam samples. CDR anticipates drilling in 2002. Bobbymia (100% CDR: Diamonds): Diamond targets. Abminga/Abminga South (100% CDR: Diamonds): Diamond targets. Looks like a busy year in 2002 for Caldera. | ||||||||||||
