Title speaks for itself.
Have intellectuals, especially those within the media, historically been wrong and wrong? Before answering this question: Are not most intellectuals considered as on The Left, instead of on The Right?
OK. That's pretty much the way it is in all countries in the world, isn't it? Show me where it's different, please.
But let's figure this out. If the Right Wing had won all its battles over centuries of time (and it seems it has won given the obvious lack of food, health, shelter and meaningful jobs in the world all around), would the world be better off? I ask: Where would the poor folk be and who would be their advocates?
It's basically this: If The Right won it all, would The Left be needed at all?
It sure seems like prevailing policies, over centuries of time, have favored policies of The Right. Consequently, I think it is therefore prerequisite for The Left to force itself to think, yes to write and speak out about that which could be different.
Therefore, why would anyone complain about media bias? It seems the need for such bias is obvious. Don't believe me? Hey, look at the world! Whatta ya see?
