BUYING SPLITs, the TUESDAY-FRIDAY Strategy and other MARKET STRATEGIES

TERRY WHITMAN's SI Strategy Thread-

Did you ever wonder how a particular strategy- such as buying Split announcements would work in practice? Me too- Perhaps it's a little eccentric, but I have gone so far as to actually research and use some of the strategies. I will share some of them with you here.

Hopefully, others have strategies that they would like to share here also. Maybe it's a shorting strategy- maybe a hedging strategy- heck, we'll even entertain option strategies. If you have studied one, or even suspected that a particular strategy may work, feel free to share your thoughts on it here.

In the first two posts, I will share the two strategies mentioned in the Header- both of which I have studied and used sucessfully.

Thread Rules:
1) No political or religious rhetoric, please.
2) No name calling, mud-slinging, or otherwise harassing comments.
3) No shameless promotion of stocks or companies.
4) Good jokes, and sports comments are always welcome.

Those violating above rules may be excluded from future posting, depending on frequency and severity of infractions.

Thanks,
TW
