Beartooth Platinum was the No.3 volume leader on the TSX-V for the week ending Feb. 6. One trade for 3,019,000 shares. BTP is coming off a major 18 month rounding bottom and is ready for an upside blowoff. BTP controls 14000 acres surrounding Stillwater Mining's claims in Montana. The palladium/platinum stocks are going up. Stillwater and North Amer. Palladium(SWC-NY and PAL-AMEX, PDL-TO) These stocks are anticipating a major upside move in palladium, which has started.
Palladium has been the best performing precious metal over the past three months. 3 global hedge funds have taken huge long positions in palladium. In addition, John Andrews, the former CEO of Stillwater, and one of the most respected mining men in the U.S.A., is a director of BTP. Rumours of a deal with North Amer Palladium persist, PDL said they were looking at assets in the U.S. This stock is currently $0.32, will be $2.00 soon. Next week you will be hearing more good news on BTP. When I look at a 3 year log chart of BTP, it is a textbook rounding bottom, and these move up slowly and end in explosive upside movements.
