The Brink's Company has three primary operating segments within its Business and Security Services businesses: Brink's, Incorporated (Brink's), Brink's Home Security, Inc. (BHS) and BAX Global Inc. (BAX Global). The services offered by the Company include armored-car transportation, automated teller machine (ATM) servicing, currency and deposit processing, coin sorting and wrapping, and arranging the secure air transportation of valuables. Brink's customers include banks, retail and other commercial businesses, investment banking and brokerage firms, and government agencies. Brink's has operations throughout the world, and generated 38% of its revenues from its operations in North America, during the year ended December 31, 2004. Operations outside North America are located in approximately 50 countries, including Europe, South America and Asia-Pacific region, which accounted for 43%, 16% and 3%, respectively, of the Company's revenues in 2004.
