Our globe is in an energy crisis. It makes no sense to restrict any form of energy development if we can create a model that provides reasonable assurances.

I am interested in discussion on models for such a consortium and in debate on the issue itself.

Why consortiums? A consortium is a powerful force for the promotion, development and advancement of solutions that are not bound to social power structures. Consortiums promote opportunities to benefit from the combined resources of its members willing to support cooperative endeavors that no single entity could accomplish by itself.

How's this for starters?

The International Consortium of Nuclear Energy Producers is an international consortia of producers of nuclear energy which offer financial and material development programs, security, intercultural and educational programs, and welcomes international supervision and inspection.
