General question related to concluded clinical trials.

If a trial has been concluded but not all the look back points have been reached by every subject in the trial, when can the decision to un-blind the data be made?

I have not interjected a specific company into this question. Mention of the company might diver attention from the question itself.

>>Incidentally (or maybe not), CLTR has apparently been heavily shorted of late.<<

Assuming this to be true, can anyone hazard a guess as to the likely effect on the price of the stock (CLTR) near term? (Perhaps a potential buying opportunity followed by a short squeeze?)
