OK Justa, come clean now. What exactly are you doing to make UTEK behave this way????? Don't get me wrong, I like it. I just don't understand it. Is it just another example of the stock market discounting good news long before the news is out on the street?

Best wishes,

I2

Justa re:Greenspan speech. Interesting, I get the impression he is in part responding and taking a shot at the Dow 36,000 fair value crowd. He also makes a point that risk models focusing on long term returns may not take into account inevitable financial panics. Maybe he wanted to get this on the record so if he raises rates again and tanks the market he can say I told you so.

Marc

Bloomberg indicates dollar and stock futures responding poorly to Greenspan speech. Somehow I don't think he's anxious to cut rates to boost the market this year<g>

** Greenspan Quote **

"As I have indicated on previous occasions, history tells us that sharp reversals in confidence occur abruptly, most often with little advance notice."

Yah, Alan, thanks for the "advance notice <g>."

Re: "These reversals can be self-reinforcing processes that can compress sizable adjustments into a very short period."

Hey, Alan, maybe we can learn that lesson in real time this morning thanks to you. What a great teacher! The guy mixes theory and the reality beautifully!
