ELGINDY vs SCANSHIFT.........2nd request.....
Excuse me....BBBRian...do stutter when I type? Something I wasn't clear on?

Waiting for your answer regarding the E v.S terms of use variances......

I'd like to know where to get the unabridged copy of the Terms of Use. The one that we get when we sign on seems to excluded a few flexible definitions.

Shootiethewonderdog.....still wondering......

Bryan,

That is not TRUE! I tried irt again today, and it's the same old B.S.

Do you have the guts to admit the Beta sucks????????? You are so messed up with it I'd be firing a bunch of programers if not handing in your own resigniation!

RE: Message 12695448
How about a response????? You have dodged it quite easily.

Staying in your hole????? I see you have made a number of posts since thewn, but will not reply to my request for truth. What's the underlining message there. Are you guys really that messed up?????????Why not get Brad back in there. Or doesn't he fit into your picture any more? He was my last contact to intergrity SI ever has, and you killed him.

bryan, it's been about 6 months, a little more since you first rolled out GNET/SI beta site. I get home today from a weekend of travel to find that you have finally shut off the original SI interface.

Your GNET/SI is a POS. Why don't you swallow your stupid pride and 86 this stupid project?

It's not my nature to flame out at some one, but your crack team of programers must be smoking crack or something.

Remember this?
>>And, yes, the SubjectMarks page issue has been resolved. (Internally, we refer to is as the AugustWest feature - seriously. :)

I'm not gonna' call you a liar, but AGAIN, THIS IS A FALSE STATEMENT!

It took about three minutes for my "subjects" page to load, and my threads with new messages DO NOT laod first!!!!!

You owe me, and the rest of us more than an explaination.

>>On the new SI, when you go to the SubjectMarks pages, it will load those subjects with new messages first, and then it'll load the rest of the page, i.e. the way it works on the old SI.

Come out of your hiding and confront the issues!

P.S. I will give you ONE DAY(24 hours) to respond to this message in public. After that, you have my email address on file. If you ever get it right, contact me that way because I will not login to this POS crap you think you can force on me.

Further, I must say again for the record, that I am ashamed and embarrassed to have ever volunteered to help in the preservation of the *original* SI. I realized after the first few shots you showed us that it was gonna be your way, and that we ultimately had very little to do about it. That is a disgraceful and a blemish on your reputation.

Further, I go to click on "next 10 messages" and most of them show up blank. More great work by your crack team????

I await your reply.

P>S> And I know you are lurking and reading every message people are sending you. Don't try to surface later and give up some lame excuse you were out of town. I ain't that gullable.

pps: Just for reference, I'm reposting below your entire message I'm responding to:

August,

I've copied the PM that I sent to you below (typos and all <g>). I hope you don't mind my copying it on a public post, but I thought it would help others reading this thread to have some background.

And, yes, the SubjectMarks page issue has been resolved. (Internally, we refer to is as the AugustWest feature - seriously. :)

It has not, however, been published yet into production. As I indicated in the PM, I had expected that feature to roll into production within a couple weeks - after testing. The SubjectMarks feature has tested just fine, and it's ready to go. However, with rolling out the Classic SI format option, and the problems that we've been having with the Classic SI flip-flop dance, we're being cautious about adding extra variables to the equation right now.

The SI Classic flip-flop raised its ugly head again last night, but we think we nailed it for good this time. As soon as we're sure, we'll do another production release, which will include the SubjectMarks page loading enhancements - otherwise known as the AugustWest feature.

Please let me know if you still have any questions.

Thanks,

Bryan

August,

I wanted to tell you first...

You'll be happy to know that the SubjectMarks issue has been resolved. It is currently working (and it testing) on our internal development systems, and should be published into production shortly.

Just to be clear on what I'm talking about...

On the new SI, when you go to the SubjectMarks pages, it will load those subjects with new messages first, and then it'll load the rest of the page, i.e. the way it works on the old SI. We're doing regular production releases about once a week now, and assuming all goes well with testing, this should be rolled out in one of the next couple releases.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Thanks,

Bryan

THis is total B.S Bryan, see below.

I click on my folders, and I can't even see who posts to me unless I save it to a folder? Further, how the heck do I get to view posts "from" me? How would I go about saving those?????? MORE CLICKS!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. The clock is ticking.

Bryan,
Here is another little navigation thing.
When a message has been posted and there is still time to edit, the "previous", "next" and "respond" navigation buttons shift to the right and the message "Edit your reply (N minutes left)" is put to the left. The result is that after I post a message and return to the message that I responded to to resume reading the thread, I will invariably place my cursor on the "next" button and eventually I will come to the message that I posted and I will click the mouse, but since the "next" button has been shifted to the right, I am entered into the reply editor. This is a pain in the @ss from a navigation standpoint.
