hello rande/

I'd have to chime in the march call to go to the sidelines as the best call as well.

Rande Is: Regarding your predictions....
Your call of a major decline earlier this year was NOT your best call -- frankly, even I anticipated that. After the NASDAQ had rocketed from 4000 to 5000 in a matter of months, I knew that was coming. Your genius was in anticipating the MAGNITUDE of the decline. There was a post where you listed several of the NASDAQ high-flyers and the prices you thought they would fall to during the NASDAQ carnage. QCOM at 60?!,etc., etc.; I was laughing my ass off -- what is he thinking?

Unfortunately, I did not bail out this Spring when you recommended selling out of all tech stocks in early April; I'm not laughing now. Never in my wildest scenario did I see the major, top-tier tech stocks declining 50-70%. Internet stocks? Yes. Small-cap high flyers? Yes. No way did I think stocks like QCOM, PMCS, BRCM, RBAK would crash and burn.

That was (IMHO) unquestionably your best post. I still cannot believe the magnitude and speed of the sell-off. You should look up and post the link to that particular post. In retrospect, it borders on clairvoyant.

I was new to the thread, too late to hear your call of the top this Spring...but that, and your call to get back in, left me just shaking my head. I don't like to be thought a sycophant, but the accuracy of your calls is absolutely astounding, IMO.

Because I was so new here, just feeling things out, I also watched but didn't follow your prescient ADAP and LPTH(A) calls.

Hmmmm...now the only problem is, I'm skeptical about your LU (am I allowed to dissent? <gg>)

You have outperformed my account performance by several times. My problem now is simply that my account is too small to easily allocate among all your calls, and it's pretty hard trying to time just one or two all the time. And patience was never much one of my virtues, thought I'm working on it <gg>

All the best

I watched you make one great call after another , so when you called the top
3/99 I went to money market in my 401 which is my biggest holding , I can safety <G> say I'm up nearly 150% ,
which got me thinking , next time
you say the top is in , I'm selling everything in my other 2 trading accounts
and shorting the Q , <g>
Many thanks to you and all of the posters hear , by far the best I have come across
