I think the answer to the folks who made a clerical error when they voted is going to be "tough cookies."

Don't jump to conclusions flatsville. I have an Aunt and Uncle from Dade county who I saw in September and in talking with them, found them to be firm supporters of Buchanan. As it turns out, his redneck views on immigration really rang a bell in Miami where people are fed up with the flood of immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Central America, etc. over the past decade. Whether they are right or wrong, they blame it on this administration so don't assume that they all wanted to vote for Gore.

Flats, I do expect the Palm beach people to attempt to change the outcome but it won't work. You cannot overturn an election based upon mistakes and stupidity. BTW a democrat( i forgot her name) set up that butterfly ticket -vbg-. Don't forget the overseas military vote will likely be predominantly for Bush. For the democrats who whine consider how many Bush voters did not bother to vote once the media declared their guy Al Gore to have taken Florida before the left coast polls were closed. Mike

A picture of the Palm Beach ballot:

It doesn't look confusing to me. I understand that it was printed in the local paper, along with instructions.

Regards,

Barb

How could these people be marching around in the middle of the day? Are they professional marchers? What are the credentials of these protestors? Getting "shrieking mad" about this election simply means that one has too much time on his/her hands, IMO.

As I said earlier, lawyers, guns and money to FL.

You mean Clinton's entourage is heading down there? -g-

You've made your position clear - people on this thread with considerable knowledge of politics are not qualified to vote, but morons who cannot properly bubble in their choices are eminently qualified.

Gore's campaign chief is the son of the infamous Mayor Daley. 'Nuff said.
